Checklist before requesting a quote
| Information | What to send |
|---|---|
| Kitchen | Plan and number of cabinets |
| Room | Measurements, angles and photographs |
| Worktop | Material, length and cut-outs |
| Appliances | Model numbers and dimensions |
| Services | Positions of water, drain and sockets |
Who connects what
A kitchen fitter assembles the cabinets, but water, high-load electrical appliances or gas may require another qualified professional. Clarify silicone sealing, cutting and packaging removal as well.
Checks before handover
Open every drawer and door, and inspect gaps and alignment. Run the water and inspect the connections under the sink. Photograph services before the kitchen conceals them.
Frequently asked questions
Can the kitchen be measured before tiling?
It can be measured for planning, but final dimensions should be confirmed after floors and wall finishes are complete.
Does installation include appliances?
Do not assume so. The quote should specify installation, cut-outs and connections.
What if the wall is not square?
Filler panels and the worktop can be adjusted, but larger deviations require additional work.
When Brzix launches, describe the kitchen, add the plan and photos, and compare offers from available fitters.
