What Affects the Price?
Floor and lift access
Moving without a lift, or with a lift too small for large furniture, adds 15–30% to the price. Movers typically charge 500–1,500 RSD extra per floor (each direction) when there's no lift.
Distance
Within-neighbourhood moves are cheaper than cross-district. For moves outside Belgrade, expect roughly 100–150 RSD per km for larger trucks.
Bulky items
Pianos (2,000–6,000 RSD extra), safes, washing machines and large aquariums are priced separately — they require specialist equipment and extra labour.
Date and timing
Weekends and the beginning/end of the month are peak demand. Mid-week, mid-month moves can be 10–20% cheaper. If your schedule allows, it's worth asking about off-peak rates.

How to Prepare for Moving Day
- Book 2–3 weeks ahead — especially for weekend slots or end-of-month
- Photograph valuable furniture before loading — in case of damage claims
- Reserve parking in front of both properties for the truck
- Notify neighbours — noise and temporary corridor blocking is normal
- Defrost the fridge the night before (it must be dry and empty)
- Have payment ready — many companies don't accept card only
